My names Maria and I'm a photographer from Connecticut.
I've been working professionally for about 4 years now, but have been in a relationship with my camera for as long as I can remember.
Professionally, I started photographing graduates then shifted into the wedding industry. These past few years have been a world wind but I wouldn't have it any other way!

I graduated from Western Connecticut State University, receiving my bachelors degree in professional writing. I am currently on track to receive my Master's in Fine Arts from WCSU in 2026.
Being a writer has inspired my style of photography. My photos have been romanticized as "filmy" and "authentic".
I specialize in documentary style and editorial photography. Candid moments are my bread and butter!

Over the past few years, I’ve worked with multiple media publications as both a writer and a photographer.
Currently, I write with the New Fairfield/Sherman Town Tribune. My column, "The Youngest of Us", is a personal lifestyle column from the point of view of a young woman navigating through life in her 20's.
Topics include relationships, self-discovery, and work-life balance-- Publishing in print bi-weekly.

Unfortunately for my bank account, I was diagnosed with "wanderlust" at a young age. I've had the privilege of visiting multiple countries and meet so many new people. Some of my favorite places I've visited are Florence, Paris, Portugal and Holland!
Experiencing new foods, spontaneous adventures and overall exploration is a true passion of mine.
